Cawthron offers a wide range of skills and equipment for biochemical characterisation of samples.

Research projects range from biosensor and fuel cell development to marine natural product and metabolic by-product work. We are currently developing biosensors using Surface Plasmon Resonance techniques and have expertise in Receptor Binding Assays for marine toxins.
