In this document we provide a literature review to underpin a Bayesian Belief Network-based (BBN) limiting factor analysis (LFA) for stream brown trout fisheries. This document is not intended to be a stand-alone report. A detailed background, methodology and an example application of the BBN to the Horokiri Stream (Wellington, New Zealand) can be found in Holmes et al. (in review).
