Deanna is a coastal marine ecologist within the Healthy Oceans Group. She works across a variety of marine research and monitoring projects with specialist expertise in benthic ecology predominantly in offshore environments. Research experience has focused on sustainable aquaculture production systems, coastal environmental interactions, management and restoration, and marine mammal ecology. She has experience in managing projects for industry, regulatory agencies and research funding partners predominantly related to offshore mining & aquaculture, and has been involved in developing environmental guidance for finfish aquaculture.
