Ecologist – Data Scientist
Role at Cawthron
As part of Cawthron’s Data Science team, Fabio collaborates with other scientists across the organization. He contributes to various projects as a data analyst and develops and maintains data tools used by Cawthron scientists. Fabio provides advice and support in the areas of data organisation, processing, analysis and visualisation while aiming to make science workflows more efficient, transparent and reproducible. As a quantitative ecologist with a background in terrestrial ecology, Fabio has conducted research on a variety of topics. His work as a data scientist draws on his research experience ranging from study design to fieldwork and publication of results.
