Marine Ecologist
Role at Cawthron
Maureen is a marine ecologist in the Restoration Ecology Team at Cawthron. Her research focuses on examining anthropogenic impacts on marine environments and their organisms, particularly, seaweeds. She has extensive field work and research experience including developing experimental designs to investigate the effects of global change on coastal/reef systems. Her work at Cawthron contributes to a range of projects focusing on marine monitoring to improve environmental management and restoring coastal ecosystems.
