Mckayla works in the Coastal and Freshwater Group, and contributes her visual communication, project management and environmental monitoring expertise across all areas of Cawthron. She has spent 8+ years working in the freshwater space in both technical and logistical capacities, first for local government and more recently in the private sector. She has a passion for science communication and believes science communication is essential to ensure the full impact of research is realised.
