Rachel is a Marine Ecologist in Cawthron’s Healthy Oceans group, working within the Environmental Interactions team. She works across a range of aquaculture projects, leading monitoring surveys and environmental impact assessments for marine farms. With a background in restoration ecology and marine conservation, her research focuses on how marine species interact with their environment, and the role of indigenous habitat restoration in supporting healthy ecosystems.
